BEHIND THE LENS

 

My name is Peta-Gaye Thomas. I attend Marist College. I've been into photography since I was in middle school and throughout high school, I've motivated people with the work I have done because of the skills I hold. I have six consecutive years of photographing people, sports and events professionally. I had entered a business competition with Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship which I came in 3rd place In New York City along side with fellow classmates and other students who attended different high schools. 

 

Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship has made me qualified to operate my own photography business and I'm also a six year member of Urban Arts Partnership, which also helped me to developed the skills of photography. I've traveled to five different countries in Europe and I've traveled to ten different cities within these countries photographing people and landscapes. Photography to me is not something that I do, it's something that is apart of me and I find peace and happiness when I take photos.
